Requests & Goodbyes....For Now

Well I guess this is it for a while. I had a blast with blogging and I hope I can continue it in some fashion soon but with the uncertainty of the future of the internet & my own future, I have to put a hold on it. I really appreciate being able to be apart of this community and my life has changed for the better because of it. Included are Anzen Chitai's studio albums 1-12, Akina Nakamori's Destination & DIVA and two of Yoko Minamino's Best of's (one courtesy of Fen!!!, THANKS!). Sorry corwyn, I ran out of time with uploading all of her others but I am including two links that have working links too all of them! I am keeping everything up for now, so if somebody is still interested in an album they can post in the request section. Thanks again everyone and I wish you all the best!

IF YOU WANT REPOSTS...

Let me know! Since multiupload has pretty much discontinued their services and I wont have steady internet in the near future, if anybody would like something posted with a mediafire link...just let me know on this posts' comments section. Ill keep up the original links as well but this will keep the options open at least for a little while...

***Also...it looks like btjunkie just voluntarily shut down and many other sites are being seized and shut down....I think its safe to say that 2012 will mark the year the internet died for many of us....

Japan: Quiet Life & Gentlemen Take Polaroids

These are the two that defined Japan and marked their shift from Glam to New Wave. David Sylvian's introduction of the lower register vocals, Mick Karn's fretless bass grooves, Richard Barbieri's signature synths and the solid percussion of Steve Jansen. These albums did however, mark the minimization of guitarist Rob Dean contributions to the band (which caused his departure in 1980) but his presence in these albums is key, his instrumental composition "The Width of A Room" and the title tracks of both albums are a testament to that. Some amazing musicianship and fantastic representations of minimalist pop music. This also marks the first collaboration between David Sylvian and Ryuichi Sakamoto on "Taking Islands in Africa".
