Yumi Tanimura: Believe In

Thought I'd change it up again and post an artist I became familiar with thanks to WAX MASK. This is a fantastic debut album from her and her style is one I think most of you will enjoy, assuming you aren't familiar with her work. Two more from her will be on the way as well. Enjoy!

Miki Imai: Bewith & retour

While these were on my to do list, I bumped them up thanks to inspiration from my friend corwyn's I FEEL THE ECHO. Unfortunately it's not PRIDE, but fear not these are great listens! Enjoy! By the way, if anyone has a copy of her 1987 album "Elfin", I'd really appreciate it! 野性の風 was my introductory track to her and unfortunately both times I've visited Japan, I never came across the album.

한송이 국화 is the last album to feature a "familiar sound" that she relied upon for most of her career and is a great album through and through. FIRST LOVE is a very experimental album featuring: 90's drum machine pop/r&b sounds, blues, operatic duets, acoustic ballads and hard rock. Enjoy!
