Here are two more from Miki Imai. fiesta is an interesting compilation of covers of popular western songs from the 70's (The Carpenters, Peaches & Herb, Roberta Flack, etc.) with two original songs (one instrumental) . The songs are sung in English with Miki's voice and the arrangements complimenting the original versions very well. Also included is MOCHA, her third full length LP and her last of the 80's. Both great albums thanks to an anonymous uploader! Enjoy!

Arc the Lad is a strategy RPG game that was developed for the Playstation One in 1995. It was also the first video game soundtrack to be composed by Masahiro Andoh of The Square/T-Square fame. Andoh would go on to compose a multitude of game soundtracks including the games two sequels. These were eventually released State side in a wonderful compilation thanks to now defunt Working Designs. While I enjoy the games for what they are, they aren't personal favorites but the music for the first game is fantastic. The album featured is arranged version of the protagonists themes and orchestral arrangements of the games themes. Even if you aren't familiar with the game or play games, the soundtrack is a definitely listen for any fan of Andoh. Enjoy!

Gamu (雅夢) is a folk pop duo that formed in 1980 while members Kazuto Miura and Nakagawa Toshikazu were attending Chukyo University. After winning a song contest that same year, they would go on to a fairly successful career until they disbanded in 1984. Their initial success was largely due to the popularity of their first single "愛はかげろう", which was revived two decades later with its use in the popular Korean drama "Winter Sonata". Kazuto Miura continued with a solo career and still performs today with the occasional song from his days in Gamu. This three disc collection encompasses songs from their short lived run and includes nearly every song they recorded. I was only familiar with "愛はかげろう" but when I came across this online, I was blown away. 雅夢 roughly translates to Elegant Dream and that's exactly what their music is. I had to share this with everyone and thanks to the original uploader (whoever you are). I highly recommend this album and I promise there is something for everyone. Enjoy!
I am a huge fan of Korean Hip Hop and this album was a special introductory to the genre for me. It still to this day remains my favorite Hip Hop album of all time. It is the best example of what Epik High as a group could accomplish and its size and scope push the boundaries of what can be considered a Hip Hop/Rap album. While I enjoy a large of amount of Western Hip Hop, Korea seems to understand how this genre is an art form and not purely a disposable money maker as it has become in the States. Epik High may have their fair share of controversy and dissenters but they remain an influential force in the music industry and can be compared to pioneers in the country like Seo Taiji, Drunken Tiger, Dynamic Duo and many others. Wether you are fan of rap or not, I promise you that this album at least breaks down some conventions that the genre too often depends on. Enjoy and more to come if you all like it! The entire album is streamed curtesy of youtube user MrChosonWind below! THANK YOU! 2007 seems like ancient history now.
I don't have to much knowledge about Nakanishi (no relation to Keizo) but I thought I'd give one of his albums a chance when I came by it. I was pleasantly surprised with his smooth 90's R&B style. While this album doesn't included his biggest hit, I think it's a good introduction. Nakanishi maintained a steady career throughout the 90's but seems to be still performing today. I hope you take a chance and check this album. Enjoy! If anyone happens to have any of his other albums, I am interested^^
This song came on in my itunes shuffle so I got inspired to put together a little compilation of some of its' various versions and covers! Kinda random but a great song none the less! One of those quintessential 80's dance songs. Enjoy! I Like Chopin Mix - Various Artists

I like to say hello to all the page visitors and also apologize for my neglect of the site. Moving home from Korea has proven to be a hassle and most of my things have been packed up because of the frequently shuffle I've been doing throughout the States. That being stated I will have some time coming up soon and I'll be posting some new things! The re-ups will take me a while as somethings are in storage and instead of doing them at random times I'd like to sit down and do them in one push! I appreciate the continued intrest in the page from many people. I do this because I want to share with others and give back to the online community that has changed my life for the better! Thanks again everyone!
